Refundable deposit |
3.000,00 € |
The deposit is a security measure which is returned to the charterer if the yacht is returned undamaged and in the same condition it was in upon being handed over. The security deposit is paid at the charter base upon checking in. The charter base is obliged to return the whole amount of the security deposit to the client if the chartered yacht is returned undamaged and on time. If the yacht is returned damaged and the damage exceeds the amount of the security deposit, the deposit will not be returned to the client. If the damage does not exceed the deposited amount, the damage will be paid for from the deposit and the rest will be refunded to the client. The deposit can be paid in different ways: in cash, by credit card, traveller's cheque or by bank transfer. However, charter agencies usually only accept cash payments or credit card slips. The deposit amount depends on the value of the yacht. It is usual for the deposit amount to be doubled if the yacht is chartered for a regatta |
Booking process
All prices are in euros. The transit log and final cleaning will in most cases be paid directly at the charter base upon arrival. In addition, there is a mandatory tourist tax (e.g. in Croatia one euro per person per day). Upon confirmation of the booking, a 50 percent deposit is required, the remaining amount to be paid four weeks prior to the first day of charter. |
